Greetings from NC

Hi Y'all! Kevin and I made it safe and sound to my hometown Raleigh, NC today.  I am trying to adjust to the time and get my schedule situated- Let's hope it doesn't happen right as it is time to go back West!

So far today we got into town, had lunch with my Dad, checked out a super awesome beer store- Bottle Revolution, came back home and Kevin took a nap while I re-sized Pin Cushion Rings for Our Etsy Shop.

SUPER EXCITING: Our First Newsletter went out today thanks to Sharon Fain!

Sharon Fain is an excellent consultant who helps small businesses, non-profits and community organizations to name a few of her many talents. I would strongly recommend her expertise for a large range of services that you can check out here.

Well, I have a Banana Bread Beer from Bottle Revolution calling my name...

We want to wish you the very best Thanksgiving tomorrow!

Best wishes + enjoy your loved ones & some good eating ;)
XOXO, KC & Kevin

Bottle Cap Pin Cushion Rings

 Our bottle cap pin cushion rings have been a huge hit- YAY!

We create each one in small, limited run batches out of scrap, salvaged, and saved fabric.  The hidden gem is the recycled bottle caps that are used as the base- key to keeping your fingers prick free ;)  This style is good for projects that are small in detail and is ideal for the artisan who wants an alternative to the wrist or other pincushions.

Each one varies slightly- mostly due to fabric availability and the type of bottle cap used as the base.  Besides those unique attributes, there are two types of rings as shown above.  One is a more chunky, bubble shape (shown on left).  The second style is more of a petal with the feel of a classic tomato pin cushion that is tiny on your finger (shown on right).

 Great as a fashionable chunky fabric ring too!

Coffee= Project

A bit ago I found this Coffee at Trader Joe's.  We broke our coffee pot right at the start of the Instant Coffee Craze (Starbucks tried to start it up... Who knows if it is a real craze or not)
ANYWAY, I found this coffee at Trader Joe's and the price-point was amazing.  The coffee is my 2nd  favorite part, once home I came up with multitudes of ideas to utilize the actual recycled Jar.  Unfortunately, I found out a couple of months ago that Trader Joe's is discontinuing this kind and replacing it with a similar item.  That's cool, but can you please keep the jar?  I have been hoarding and stockpiling these jars for our *New* Sewing Jars that will be available for purchase this Holiday season :)

I found one TJ in the Westside Village area which is the only one to carry this coffee.  It was hilarious buying 7 jars of coffee today-lol.  We'll see if there is more left when I finish this bundle.  I hope so, because I have friends on the wait list that would be sad to miss out-
