UNIQUE LA's 4th Annual Holiday Show 2011

Here is our UNIQUE LA Picture Wrap-Up! Thanks for everyone who came out and said "Hello"! 

Those of you who couldn't make it- here are the Highlights:

Set-up began Friday and Kevin brought up all of our items for our booth. We did one load in our new FIT and it was just big enough to get everything we needed display wise nicely. 

We lucked out and had an obstructive column just outside our booth that we could decorate on and make sure our booth was visible from the aisle way. :)

Kevin made some AH-MAZING record accessory stands for UNIQUE! Here are some of my favorites:

 There were Craft Demos featured by the Craft and Folk Art Museum- Making Upcycled Gift Bows.

Also, I want to give a big shout out to Kristin Parker for our new Logo design for our business cards!!! I am really excited to expand off this logo into 2012. :)

MOO Orders

Super EXCITED that our Moo Order finally came in!!! 

We ordered their amazing business cards and some of the brand-new sticker books!  Moo is a go to source for business cards especially if you would like to feature an image or picture of your items on the cards.  They are very responsible with their paper choices.  We chose the 100% recycled paper option, which is doubly awesome because the paper plant is wind-powered too! Even the regular printing is all from sustainable  forests to where choosing these Moo cards you already are making a smart decision ;)

I am super sore today so I'll be short and sweet ;)  I haven't been able to prep as much as I wanted to for this weekend because I have found myself going back and tying up some loose ends on my displays and info within the merchandising.  There is a different amount of packaging and details needed for all different venues and I have been testing and trying out all kinds of new ways to put the finishing touches on everything.

One thing I am super excited about is these great mini envelopes that are perfect for enclosure cards or to put a finishing touch on your business cards.  These would be perfect for gifts, parties, Etsy sales, and marketing packages.

So far I have been using donated calender pages, pieces of maps, and other smaller pieces of scrap paper.

Also, here is a fun spread of all the great results from yesterdays Onion Dyeing-

As you can tell the colors all vary and are lighter in intensity than not.  The more onion peels included in the dye bath the darker the results.  I like doing multiple processes on fabrics so this light background is a perfect first stage.
