DIH is the new DIY! I was totally jazzed to see that Home Depot is putting on "Do-It-Herself" workshops that aim to teach women home improvement how-to basics. I'm surprised that other DIY-type stores haven't been doing this before because women have been revamping their homes long before Pinterest blew up.

They are doing a tutorial for herb container garden on Thursday, May 3. Not only is making your own herb garden cost effective because you aren't buying expensive fresh herbs, but they are natural air purifiers. And container gardens are easy for apartments and houses, alike. Plus, the event is free! What more incentive do you need to go? 

It looks like they have done more "tool-time" workshops before. Man, do I love using a power tool! Hopefully they do some more like that so I have an excuse to saw or hammer something. For more information you can check Home Depot's Do-It-Herself event page.
