How-To: Utilizing "Air-bubbles" for Re-Purposed Shopping Bags

Here is a How-To to create branded, re-purposed shopping bags from the "air-bubbles" used for shipping.

STEP 1:We all save the shipping bubbles, separate them and trip off one side so they are empty.

Here is them all separated and cut.  To create the handle I cut out a triangle of plastic and slits up both sides so that the handle can be created with double level plastic once glued.

STEP 2: CREATE A CARDBOARD STENCIL FOR DESIGN/LOGO FOR BAG.

Here is the one we used for the project.  I marked out the template on the backside of a cereal box and cut out with an exacto blade.

Then you can spray paint it onto your air-bubble bag- And let dry completely.

STEP 3: GLUE DOWN HANDLE.  I used a Dot rolling glue for scrap-booking. I am sure you could use whatever you choose, just test a scrap of plastic bag to make sure.

View of what the Handle looks like once glued.
